GPRS was contacted by an environmental firm to scan several areas prior to soil boring at a shopping center in Louisville, KY. The environmental firm had several areas laid out for boring, and was concerned of possible utilities in the area.

The RD 7000 and 400 MHz antenna were used to scan the boring locations. When scanning, a sewer line and electric for the street lights were discovered nearby the boring location in front of the store. As for the boring locations behind the store, a sewer line was also discovered near the boring location. The boring locations were then adjusted to steer clear of any utilities.

While the work was completed for an environmental firm outside of the state, after speaking with the site contact it was discovered they also had an office nearby. This office had never used GPRS, therefore we began discussing setting up a lunch and learn presentation. Our presentation allows us to explain the services we offer, while answering any questions the client may have. Contact Tyler Allen at (502) 528-8396 or tyler.allen@gprsinc.com.
